BEAUTITUDE FOR
JANUARY
Blessed are those who
hunger for righteousness, they shall have their fill.

Happy New Year to all
from Mrs. Weissler and Class 7B!!
The purpose of this
webpage will be twofold. It
will primarily function as a parent information letter for homeroom
students. Its secondary purpose
will be to share information concerning junior high mathematics with all
seventh and eighth grade students and parents.
Detailed information concerning other subject areas may be available
on the web pages of respective teachers.
HOMEROOM INFO:

Our beatitude for December, "Blessed are the meek" was perfect for the hectic holiday season as it asked us to be gentle and humble, to think before we react. I look forward to reading the students reflections on how they became more meek. Our January task is to evaluate and value our relationships, especially our relationship with God.
Thank you to each and
every one who participated in our Advent activity of providing items for the
St. Vincent de Paul Society Christmas store. What a wonderful opportunity
for the poor of the area to actually choose items for the individual members
of their family. I feel very blessed to be a part of such a Christian
family.
The students and I
would like to thank all responsible for the wonderful Christmas party.
The edible treats and drinks were super!
Let me take this opportunity to personally thank all of you for your
generous outpouring of wonderful Christmas gifts and a sizable Teacher’s
Purse. My family and I
genuinely enjoy and appreciate your thoughtfulness.
With the holiday
season now but fond memories, it is time for the students to settle back
into the business of school.
Your assistance with the return to serious study would be appreciated.
January 14th concludes the second quarter and first semester.
Catholic Schools
Week, January 26-30, 2009 is quickly approaching and will be contain many
opportunities to celebrate our Catholicity.
Watch for detailed information coming home in the mailbag.
