ROOM ACTIVITIES:
What a
busy time of the year this is for all of us.
It is so easy to get distracted with all of the hustle and bustle of
Thanksgiving and Christmas. In
making all of your plans for these holidays, be sure to include time to keep up
with schoolwork.
The 8th grade will have a paper due before the Christmas
Break. They have been reading
When the Legends Die, and will write
a Character Analysis of Tom Blackbull, the main character.
We will pre-write this together in class, and the final paper will be due
before Christmas. The 7th
grade will finish reading Treasure Island
and write their Character Analysis of Jim Hawkins, the main character.
Hopefully, both grades are busy researching their Science Fair projects.
The 7th grade will write their papers with me in class.
The 8th grade is on its own this year, but should certainly
ask me if they need any help.
Elf Basketball is a big event for the eighth grade this quarter!
Check the schedule below for the date and time.
I am sure they are busy planning what to wear; think red, think green,
and most importantly, think Elfy.
