SCHS Course descriptions

Our curriculum is grounded in the traditional disciplines of English, Mathematics, Foreign Language, Science, History, Theology, Visual and Performing Arts. We are committed to teaching students how to be critical thinkers and effective writers.

Beginning in the ninth grade, students are exposed to a challenging array of core academic subjects. Teachers stress their respective disciplines, and emphasize the essential skills of time management, organization, note taking and writing. In the sophomore and junior years, students are challenged by an increasingly more demanding workload as well as by Advance Placement courses. Senior year is the culminating moment in a student's education at Springfield Catholic High School.
