      2. I would change…
      3. I couldn’t believe that…
    5. What leadership qualities did the book portray? Can you relate to this person in any way?
  2. The book must be at least 200 pages long, not including a preface or bibliography. Please e-mail me your book selection for preapproval.

Your typed paper must be at least two pages long, in Times New Roman size 12 font with 1 ½ inch margins.

  3. Your next task is to create a committee that you would like to see in place at SCHS.
    1. You will need to type a written proposal answering the following questions:
      1. What is the name of your committee?
      2. What is your main goal for this committee?
        1. What would the committee be responsible for? Essentially, what would it be doing?
      3. What is the need for your committee?
      4. What steps would you take in order to accomplish your goal?
      5. How would you get the committee to be accepted by the class and by the school?
    2. You will also need to create a visual aide to accompany your proposal. This may be in the form of a PowerPoint presentation, brochure, newsletter, flyer or even a video.

*Keep in mind that this committee should be something that you really believe in and want to see happen at SCHS

You will also present your proposal to the rest of the class when school begins and hopefully your ideas can come to life.

Both of these assignments are due to Mrs. Tipton no later than July 15th, 2008. Please e-mail them to me at mtipton@scspk12.org or if you do not have e-mail access, you can mail them to me at 2340 S.
