What Classes do you offer?

Immaculate Conception School offers classes for preschool through eighth grade. There are double classes at each level with Instructional aide assistance in the primary grades. Spanish and computer skills are offered.

I.C. serves over 500 students in grades preschool - 8. Preschool classes are half-day sessions.

Classes Begin at 8:15 a.m. and dismiss at 3:15 p.m.
School Office Hours - 8:00 - 3:45
Building Open - 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

School dismisses at 1:30 on the first Friday of each month for grades K-8.

Does IC have an after-school program?

We offer afternoon care from 11:15 - 3:15 for morning preschool students, Please visit the Central Office website to view current tuition rates and daycare fees.
In addition, the Springfield Family YMCA offers an on-site Primetime program for all students 5 years of age or older for IC students from 3:15 to 6:00. Do you serve hot lunches?

Hot lunches are offered daily or students may bring lunch. The hot lunch program is part of the Federal School Lunch Program. Families may apply for free or reduced rate lunch. Menus are published monthly.

Does Immaculate Conception School have computers?

Yes, we have a Media Center and wireless portable computer lab(s) for whole class instruction and each teacher has a computer in the classroom.

Is Religion taught every day?

Religion is considered a core subject at Immaculate Conception School, therefore, it is taught daily and integrated into all areas of curriculum. In addition to classroom teacher presentations, parish staff members including the pastor teach religion on a regular basis. Also, students in grades 1-8 attend Mass twice a week.
