We would love to have some parent helpers for the zoo field trip on May 10th. The cost will be $5.00 if you don’t have a “Friends of the Zoo” pass. You would meet us at the zoo around 12 and we would leave around 2:10 ish. Please e-mail me if you’d like to help. Thanks!
Homework for the Week

We’re finished with homework for the year!!!! Yea! The countdown has begun.
The children will however be tested on the “Hail Mary” for religion this week and “Unit 5 Words” for reading.
There will be no spelling test, since we are unit testing in reading.
Studying for Spelling Tests
9/20/2012
One of our moms, Angie Homeyer, was kind enough to “load” all of our first grade spelling lists on to the website, spelling city. Please check out this link. I promise that your child will enjoy using this method to study! This will only include the list of 10 words for the grade. (Each classroom has different Challenge Words.) Simply follow this link to help your child try it out! http://www.spellingcity.com/AJHomeyer
