**I will begin testing the students over the Unit 2 word list on Wed, 12/11. Please make sure you child can zip through the words with no hesitation or sounding out.
**In religion, I will be testing over the “Our Father” on December 16th. The children will need to be able to recite the prayer independently for this oral test.
HOMEWORK FOR THE WEEK
READING LOG with a total of 1 hour of reading per week is due each Monday. ( 5 successful reading logs=a trip to Mrs. Baird’s office for a small surprise)
MONDAY (12/2/13) : “Application for Passport” (We will be doing a unit on “Christmas Around the World” and the children will have their passport “stamped” as we “enter” each couintry and learn about its traditions.) The students will receive their passports on Tuesday if the have successfully applied. :-)
