Dear Moms & Dads,

Well spring has sprung and there’s more fun to have begun! Oh those April showers won’t have to bring some of those May flowers because they are already here and they survived cold and frost. We are blooming around here and there is so much more to come.

There are many events and happenings going on this month. We will be growing caterpillars into butterflies later this month. You will want to check this one out so please stop by. We will also start seedlings, bulbs and a terrarium. WE will continue to have bike days through this month. We will be going on another field trip in the middle of April.

Both our field experiences last month were a HUGE success. This month we set our sights to take off to the Nature Center. There will be more information to follow so keep checking those backpacks. Please make sure you get permission slips in and let us know if you can chaperone and or drive.

Our Easter parties will be on Tuesday, April 26 at 10:00 am. I’ve heard talk that the Easter Bunny may hop on by to see us. SWEET! I’m aware that our room mothers are gearing up.

We will start having Share Day in April and May. Each child may bring an item from home and be prepared to talk about it. Boys will share on Wednesday and Girls Share on Monday. It should be a great experience for everyone so please remember to send something with your child on their day.

Lastly please take a look at the Scholastic book order forms and get your orders in by April 15. Thank you as always for all you do for our class!

Field Experiences

We have 2 field trips scheduled so please make every effort to return permission slips and the funds to cover any cost. We have had great success with our trips thus far and look forward to more fun times!
