Mrs. Jeanne Skahan, Principal
Mrs. Skahan has a Bachelors of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas. She holds a Masters degree in School Administration from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas. Mrs. Skahan has 30 hours in postgraduate work in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Nebraska.

Mrs. Beth Byers, Administrative Assistant
Mrs. Byers has a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science from Missouri State University. Mrs. Byers is the administrative assistant to the principal. She has been in this position for 2 years. She is married to Gerry and has 1 child.

School Nurse

Allison Halter
Mrs. Halter has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Arkansas. She has 24 years of nursing experience in critical care nursing and is in her 4th year as the school nurse at St. Agnes School and St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton School. She is married to Chuck and has 3 children.

Special Services

Ms Terrie Gordon
Mrs. Gordon has a Masters Degree in speech pathology from Missouri State University. She has taught in the public schools for 32 years, specializing as a Language Development Classroom teacher. She has also taught classes at MSU and supervised undergraduate Speech Clinicians at MSU. She has been employed as the special Service's Assistant for the Catholic Schools for the past 5 years. She has two married sons and 2 granddaughters with a third grandchild on the way.

Preschool

Mrs. Meghan Anderson
Meghan is a graduate of the University of Missouri - St. Louis. She has her Bachelors of Science in Education and is certified in both Early Childhood and Elementary Education. She is beginning her 9th year teaching in Early Childhood, and this is her 3rd year teaching Pre-K at St. Agnes. Meghan is married to Donnie.

Kindergarten

Mrs. Samantha Vassilaros
Mrs. Vassilaros has a Bachelors of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Missouri State University. This is her second year at St. Agnes. Mrs. Vassilaros is married to John. They don't have any children yet, but they do have two dogs and a cat.

First Grade

Ms. Rita Lipin
Ms Rita Lipin has a Bachelors of Arts degree in English with certification in Education from St. Louis University. She received her Masters degree in Reading and Masters degree in Learning Disabilities from Emporia State University. She holds a masters degree in Religious Education from Loyola University in New Orleans, LA. Ms Rita has taught at St. Agnes for 35 years.

Second Grade

Mrs. Donna Dudenhoeffer
Mrs. Donna Dudenhoeffer has a Bachelors of Arts degree from Fontbonne College in St. Louis, Missouri. She holds a Masters degree in Education with an emphasis in Reading from Southwest Missouri State University. She has 30 additional postgraduate hours in Education from Drury and SMS. Mrs. Dudenhoeffer has taught at St. Agnes for 32 years. She is the wife of Bill.

Third Grade

Mrs. Margaret Southern
Mrs. Southern has an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and a Masters degree from Northeastern Oklahoma State University. She has earned 30 hours of postgraduate work in education from Drury College and Southwest Missouri State University. Mrs. Southern has taught at St. Agnes for 22 years. She is the wife of Gary and the mother of three grown sons.

Fourth Grade

Mrs. Kim Bade
Mrs. Kim Bade has a Bachelors of Science degree in Education and Early Childhood from Southwest Missouri State University. She holds a Masters degree in Education from Drury University. Mrs. Bade has taught at St. Agnes School for 19 years. She is the wife of Tim and the mother of 3 children.

Fifth Grade

Mr. Tom Gray
Mr. Gray has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Southwest Missouri State University. He holds a Master's degree in Education from Drury University. Tom has been with the Springfield Catholic Schools for 22 years and teaching 5th grade at St. Agnes School for 14. Mr. Gray is the Springfield Catholic High School's cross-country coach. He is husband to Mary Gray and father of two sons.

Sixth Grade

Mr. Cam Branson
Mr. Branson has a Bachelors of Arts degree in Education with emphasis in Mathematics and General Science from Missouri State University. This is Mr. Branson's first year of teaching, and his first year at St. Agnes.

Seventh Grade

Mrs. Christine Murphy
Mrs. Murphy has a Bachelors of Arts degree in Education. She has her Masters of Education from Drury University. She has 14 years of experience in teaching. Mrs. Murphy is in her 11th year of teaching seventh grade at St. Agnes School. She is the wife of Courtney and the mother of 2 sons.

Eighth Grade

Ms. Lynn Vogel
Ms. Vogel has a Bachelors of Science and Masters degree in Elementary Education. She has more than 30 hours of postgraduate hours. Ms. Vogel is certified to teach Middle School Science and psychology. Ms. Vogel has been with the Springfield Catholic School System for 30 years and at St. Agnes for 23 of those 30 years. Ms. Vogel is the mother of two grown children.

Computer Skills Grades 4-8

Ms. Joyce Pinnell
Ms. Pinnell has a Bachelors and a Masters of Science in Business Education, as well as a Masters of Science in Secondary Education Counseling from Missouri State University. She teaches technology and computer skills to grades four through eight at St. Agnes, St. Joseph and IC schools. Ms. Pinnell has taught business education and been a counselor at Springfield Catholic High School for the past 32 years. She has two sons, Will and Ryan who are graduates of St. Agnes Elementary and Springfield Catholic High.

Band Grades 5-8

Mrs. Belinda Bankhead - Director Grades 5-8
Mrs. Bankhead is a graduate of the University of Tulsa. She has had 8 years of teaching experience and is currently on her 9th year as the director of bands for the Springfield Catholic Schools. Belinda is married to Donovan and has 2 children.

Ms. Charlene Toler
Ms Toler holds a Bachelor of Education in Music-Vocal & Instrumental K-12. She is a graduate of Missouri State University with many graduate hours from Wichita State University and Pittsburg State University. Ms Toler serves as the Assistant Band Director. She teaches music at SEAS and Band instructor at St. Joseph's, I.C. and St. Agnes Schools. She helps as needed at SCHS. Ms Toler is in her 34th year of teaching. The last 7 years have been at Springfield Catholic Schools.

Music

Mrs. Mary Gray
Mrs. Gray has a Bachelors of Music Education degree from Marymount College in Salina, Kansas. She completed her Masters degree at Drury University in 2006. Mrs. Gray also teaches vocal music at St. Joseph's Schools. Mary has taught music in the Springfield Catholic Schools for 15 years. She is the wife of Tom and the mother of two sons.

P.E.

Mr. Don East
Mr. East has a Bachelors of Science in Physical Education from Missouri State University. He teaches P.E. at the High School and at St. Agnes Elementary. He has coached football for the Fightin' Irish the past five years. He also coaches golf. Mr. East has 4 children.

Foreign Language

Ms. Samantha Freeland
Ms. Freeland has a Bachelors of Science degree in Spanish Education from Missouri State University. This is her first year teaching and also her first year at St. Agnes. She also teaches Spanish at SEAS. She is from Joplin, MO, but has resided in Springfield for 3 years. In her free time, she likes to ride her bike and travel.
