SCHS Choir Receives 1 Rating at State Music Contest

Springfield Catholic Show Choir received a Superior (1) rating at the State Large Ensemble competition held at Nixa High School on Monday, April 15. Congratulations to Mr. Eichenberger and all students who worked so hard in preparation for this event. Go, Irish!
Students in Spanish 3 & 4 Win Awards at UCMO Foreign Language Film Festival
April 17th, 2013
Two groups of Spanish 3 and 4 students created films to enter in the University of Central Missouri Foreign Language film festival. They spent many hours writing, developing, brainstorming, filming and editing these short films and their efforts paid off!
Members of the groups are :
A2 SPIII:
Daniel Davis, Emily Tang, Mark Filice, Jessica Gamble, Mary Wichmer, Brooke Branham, Zachary Merz, Emma Thomas, Julianne Cabasi & David Havens
A4 SPIV:
Josh Wegenka, Nick Wiegers, Will Hennessey & Colin Shaughnessy
The teams earned the following awards in the Spanish division of the festival :
Best Intermediate – second place (TIE) – La junta directiva – The Barstow School/ El atraco de taco –Springfield Catholic High School - A2 SPIII
Best Mystery- Intermediate (TIE) – La junta directiva - The Barstow School / El atraco de taco – Springfield Catholic High School - A2 SPIII

SCHS Students Excel at District Music Contest

Congratulations to SCHS vocal music students attending the District Music Contest in Hollister on Tuesday, March 26. All of our students received either Superior or Excellent scores. The following students received Superior ratings and qualified for the State Music Contest: Sharon Witt, Garrett Weskamp, Courtney Ukena, Hillary Talty, Will Curtis, Allison Carr, Elizabeth Nguyen, Annah Love, Colin George, Jade Carroll, Brian Truong, Chris Miller, Landon Kelly, Noah Boggs,and Julia Hawes (Piano Solo). SCRIP Now Available for Delivery to SCHS!

SCRIP cards are now available for DELIVERY TO THE HIGH SCHOOL through Immaculate Conception Home and School! You can place your order on-line at ic.scriporder.com. Payment can be sent to school with your child or made on-line with a credit card. Orders/payments are due on Mondays by 8:15am and will be available for pickup at Immaculate Conception School on Thursday afternoons/Fridays or they can be delivered to your child the following Monday.
