DRESS CODE
High School
The high school has a dress code to establish an environment conducive to learning. Students who attend Springfield Catholic High School are required to adhere to the dress code as a condition of attendance. Guidelines include approved shirts with School Crest, team or activity logos, etc. Approved dress code items can be purchased through Promotional Products of the Ozarks.
Pants: Solid-colored black, navy, khaki, or from the tan family pants, capri pants, or shorts may be worn. No ‘low rise’ or ‘hip-hugger’ pants may be worn. No pants or shorts of any kind can have patch or cargo pockets. Shorts must be knee length. Belts must be worn with pants, capris, or shorts that have belt loops.
Shirts: Shirts may be worn in a variety of solid colors. Shirts are limited to short or long sleeve polo shirts, turtle or mock necks, crew or v-neck sweater, and crew neck sweatshirts. All shirts must bear the Springfield Catholic logo or sports/activity insignia.
Skirts: Solid colored black, navy, khaki, or from the tan family may be worn in knee to ankle length. A belt must be worn, if the skirt has belt loops.
Footwear: Must be worn at all times.
Hair: Hair must be neat and well groomed. Facial hair is prohibited. No hairstyle can cause undue attention.
Dress Down Days: Students will be provided with a variety of opportunities to dress down. Attire for dress down days must be neat, clean, and modest.
General: No coats, hooded sweatshirts, warm ups, and/or team uniforms will be worn in the classroom.
No headwear is permitted in the building.
Only ears may be pierced, with modest earrings. Exposed tattoos are prohibited.
Wallet chains and such paraphernalia will not be permitted.
Duffle bags and back packs are to be placed in lockers or locker room upon arrival. Students are not to carry duffle bags or back packs to class.
Adherence to the dress code is a condition of attendance at SCHS
Elementary & Middle School
Girls Uniform Plaid Items:
Girls grades K-3: Jumper or Skort
Girls grades 4-8: Jumper, Skirt (fully pleated or double-kick pleat), or Skort
All other uniform items:
Girls Grades K-5
*Navy Pants or Shorts (Shorts may be worn any month of the school year)
*White Peter Pan collar blouses – short or long sleeve
*White or hunter green knit shirts – short or long sleeve
*Navy cardigan sweater
Dark solid color belt (optional)
Green or navy sweatshirts (must be appropriate fit and purchased through Home & School)
Solid white socks or footed navy or white tights
Boys Grade K-5
*Navy pants or shorts (Shorts may be worn any month of the school year)
*White oxford cloth shirt – short or long sleeve
*White or hunter green knit shirt – short or long sleeve
Dark solid color belt (optional)

Uniform skirts, shorts and skorts are to remain at the factory length and not be shortened. Exceptions must be approved by the building administrator.
No sandals or backless shoes are allowed.
