Mr. Tim Dilg is principal at SCHS. He received his undergraduate degree in English from Missouri State University, his Master's Degree in Secondary Education from Drury University, and is currently working towards an Ed. D. in Higher Education Administration at St. Louis University.
Mr. Sam Wutke is Athletic Director at SCHS. He received his undergraduate
degree in Physical Education from Missouri State University.

Mrs. Jodi Samsinak
Guidance/Life Skills
Ms. Kelly Perry provides guidance and life skills advisement for SCHS. She received
a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Counseling from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.
Art
Mr. Gary Casalo received his undergraduate degree from Drury
College with a triple major in Studio Arts, Art History and
Asian Studies. His Master's Degree in Education was
earned at Drury College and he obtained his Master's Degree
in History from Missouri State University. Mr. Casalo teaches
Art I, II, III and IV.
Business and Computers
English
Mrs. Candace Follis teaches sophomore and junior English.
Mrs. Susan Morton has a Bachelor of Science
in English and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from
Drury University. She earned her Master of Arts in English
at Missouri State University. Besides teaching junior
and senior AP English, senior English, and dual credit at
SCHS for Missouri State University, she is a Teacher Consultant for the National Writing Project.
Mr.
Nick Russo teaches Journalism, freshman English and is the assistant
Cross Country coach. Mr. Russo received his undergraduate
degree in English from Missouri State University.
Family and
Consumer Science
Mrs. Lonni Grosdidier teaches Clothing and Design,
Child Development and Foods at SCHS. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Family and
Consumer Science from Kansas State University.
Foreign Languages
Mrs. Merica Clinkenbeard teaches Spanish.
Dr. Rebecca Schulman teaches French. She earned her Bachelor Degree in Comparative Literature at the Colorado College, her Masters and Ph.D. in French at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Health and
Physical Education
Mr. Tom Billington teaches Physical Education at SCHS and is the Junior High Cross Country Coach as well as an assistant Track Coach at SCHS. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Education from Missouri State University and his Master's Degree in Education from Central Missouri State University.
Mr. Bob Cornelison teaches 9th grade Health. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology
from Missouri Southern College in Joplin. Mr.
Cornelison is head Football coach, Head Men,s
Track Coach, and sponsor of FCA. Mr. Cornelison was also
a member of the Track and Field coaching staff of the
1997 World Scholar-Athlete Games.
Mr. Don East earned his Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Missouri State University. He is also certified in K-12 Health and Elementary Education. Mr. East is a health instructor at SCHS.
Library/Technology
Mrs. Debbie Seitzer is the Library
Media Specialist and Technology Coordinator at SCHS. She
received her undergraduate degree in Social Studies from
Missouri State University, a Master's Degree in Instructional
Media Technology from Missouri State, and is currently completing
a second Master's Degree in Reading at Missouri State University.
Mathematics
Mr. Larry Grinstead teaches Geometry,
Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, and Algebra II. He
earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
from University of Missouri at Columbia.
Mrs.
Mae Samala received her Bachelor and Master's Degrees
in Mathematics Education from Missouri State
University. She teaches College Algebra, Trigonometry,
Math Analysis, Calculus, and Geometry.
Mrs. Margie Wakefield received her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education from Missouri State University. She teaches Algebra and Basic Algebra.
Music
Mrs. Belinda Bankhead teaches instrumental music.
Ms.
Madeleine Donham received a Bachelor of Music in Piano
Performance and Music Education Certification from the University
of Texas at El Paso. She received a Masters of Music
Education from the University of Southern Mississippi. Mrs. Donham is the vocal music instructor and choir director at SCHS.
Ms.
Charlene Toler is the Assistant Director of Bands. Ms. Toler earned her Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Missouri State University. Her degree is in both instrumental and vocal music for K-12.
Science
Ms. Stephanie Coulter teaches general physics, earth science and physical science. She received her Bachelor of Science in Education from Missouri State University with a major in Unified Science Education.
Mrs. Mary Eck earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Loyola College, Baltimore and a Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas, Austin. She teaches AP Physics.
Mr. Jeff Lettington teaches chemistry.
Ms. Amy Lightwine teaches biology.
Social Studies
Ms. Cathey Eck teaches government, geography, sociology, modern American history and economics at SCHS. She received an Associate Degree in General Studies from Missouri State University at West Plains. Ms. Eck earned two Bachelor of Arts Degrees from University of Missouri in History and Russian Studies.
Mr. Darrell Gaines teaches Medieval Europe,
Contemporary Issues, World History and American History at
SCHS. He
is a graduate of Southwest Baptist Junior College (received
his AA), Drury College (BA and ME).
Mrs. Megan Tipton teaches American History, American
History AP, Psychology, and Geography AP. She has a Bachelor
of Science in Social Studies Education from Missouri State
University and is currently working on her Master's Degree
in Education. Mrs. Tipton is also Student Council moderator.
Speech/Drama/ Media
Mr. John Johnson teaches speech, drama, debate
and media at SCHS. He also directs the fall and spring plays. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Theatre from Southwest Baptist University and he anticipates completing a Master's Degree in Theatre and a Master's Degree in Teaching from Missouri State University in 2008.
Theology
Mr. Bob Cornelison received
a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology from Missouri Southern
College in Joplin. He teaches 9th grade Theology at
SCHS and is a member of the Campus Ministry Team
Mrs.
Nancy Derryberry teaches Senior Theology and is the Campus
Minister. She sponsors
CIA (Catholic Intelligence Agency). Mrs. Derryberry received
her undergraduate degree from Drury College and her Master's
Degree in Theology from Loyola University, New Orleans.
Ms. Meredith White teaches sophomore and junior theology.
