CLASSROOM RULES

  1. Be quiet during instruction and work time.
  2. Listen carefully.
  3. Follow directions (both oral and written).
  4. Raise your hand.
  5. Be polite and respectful to others.
  6. Respect school and personal property.
  7. Be kind in your words and actions.
  8. If in doubt, ASK.

WORK RULES

  1. Work quietly and do not disturb others who are working.
  2. Turn your work in when it is due.
  3. REMEMBER: NO NAME = NO GRADE (Neatness counts).
  4. Follow directions (both oral and written).
  5. Give your best effort on all assignments.
  6. Write answers to questions using complete sentences.
  7. Place the correct heading on all assignments.
  8. Write in cursive unless given a choice.

REWARDS
  1. Earn class auction dollars for use in the class auctions.
  2. Earn extra computer time.
  3. Earn extra recess.
  4. Earn a treat, stickers, etc.
  5. Earn a class party or extra CD party.

POSSIBLE CONSEQUENCES

  1. Conference with student.
  2. Loss of auction dollars for use in class auctions.
  3. Loss of privileges for the day or week.
  4. Loss of recess time.
  5. Write a letter home to parents explaining behavior.
  6. Parents notified by teacher.
  7. Conference with student, parents, and/or principal.

CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT PLAN

  1. Student/teacher discuss choices and consequences
  2. Loss of auction dollar.
  3. Loss of recess time and loss of auction dollar.
  4. Letter written by student to parents explaining inappropriate behavior and his/her ideas for improving it: signed by parents.
  5. Parents notified by phone call from teacher.
  6. Conference with student, parents, and teacher (and principal if necessary).
