The Alphabet in Spanish

The alphabet in Spanish has more letters than in English. The English alphabet has 26 and the Spanish alphabet has 30.

In learning the correct pronunciation of each letter, you will find that you can read anything in Spanish for the language

is very phonetic and follows very definite rules. This, however, does not mean that you will understand what you read

but you can sound like a native speaker.

The “t” and “d” are pronounced with the tongue slightly between the teeth and not behind the teeth.
*Las Vocales / Vowels are in red.
