reinforce reading skills in Spanish and motivate interest in reading overall.
In Spanish
classes this semester, we will be reading aloud,
during La Hora de Cuento, a pre-selected book from the Scholastic
Spanish Club Leo
(I read Spanish Book Club!)Every child from grades K-3 will read, 'Dragon
y sus labores' (Dragon Gets By) and 4th to 6th will read, 'El Cuerpo' (Your
Body). Maestra Kilmer will guide them in their reading
enabling all
to read together, or in groups, in pairs, and/or silent reading.
When we have finished with the book, your child will take his/her book home.
