We are learning to work together, put aside differences and recognize common goals within the church.

We are beginning the novel by Harper Lee called To Kill a Mockingbird.  This novel has many themes in it including racial prejudice, gender bias, social injustice, and many symbols that represent people in the story.

In Grammar students are learning about Adjectives and Adverbs.   This chapter will be followed by the use of prepositions.

Seventh Grade-In literature students are reading The Time Machine by H.G. Wells.  We are discussing the writing style and the ideas of the late 1800's. Test questions and project are due by Nov. 10th.   In grammar we are identifying adjectives and adverbs.

Sixth Grade-The sixth grade is reading The Circuit which is a story about a boy and his family that travel constantly based on what is in season for picking.  The boy faces many hardships.  We have finished the adjective and adverb chapter in grammar and we are starting on prepositions.
